Martha D. Guerra, M.D., is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologists in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas and completed her residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Texas Health Care welcomed Dr. Guerra in 1998. Her practice has been and still is very active with two offices located downtown Fort Worth and Haltom City. She is a member and fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, the Fort Worth Obstetrician and Gynecology Society and affiliated with Andrews Women’s Hospital at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth.
Dr. Guerra aspired to become a doctor because of her interest in women’s health. As a cancer survivor, developing physician/patient relationships is very important to her as she hopes to promote and improve both physical and emotional well-being.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr Guerra believes in giving back to the community. She contributes by sponsoring the American Heart Association, donating to the Fort Worth Zoo, donating to charitable events, volunteering at her church ( St. Andrews Catholic Church) and participating in The Salvation Army North Texas Youth Education Town Advisory Council.
As her career and community are important to her, so is her adorable and loving family. Dr Guerra is married to Dr Carlos Gracia who was born and raised in Fort Worth. He is an Anesthesiologist and practices at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. They have three children who are their pride and joy, Siena the oldest and twins, Adam and Madeline. In her spare time, Dr Guerra enjoys the opera, traveling , exercising, skiing, and is affiliated with The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth , The Wine and Spine book club and the Texas Ballet Theater Opera Guild.
